What is Stage Door STEAM?

Stage Door STEAM, presented in partnership with Copeland’s Inspiring Horizons program, invites students to experience a live theatrical performance and then go behind the scenes for a hands-on technical theatre workshop. From lighting and sound to set construction and design, students will see firsthand how Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics bring live theatre to life.

Program Highlights

• Free student tickets (20 per session, first-come basis)

• Attend a Saturday matinee performance (2:00 PM)

• Post-show STEAM educational session

• Designed especially to support students with an interest in STEAM, technical theatre and/or limited access to arts opportunities

Sessions will run after each Saturday matinee during our entire 2025–2026 season. The remaining dates for our 2025-2026 season sessions will be available for registration a month before each date & those dates will be as follows:

• A Christmas Carol – Saturday, December 13th @2:00PM
• Pride & Prejudice – Saturday, February 21st @2:00PM
• You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown – Saturday, May 16th @2:00PM
• Madagascar: A Musical Adventure Jr. – Saturday, July 18th @2:00PM
• Once Upon A Mattress – Saturday, August 8th @2:00PM
• 9 to 5 – Saturday, August 22nd @2:00PM
